As we monitor global developments related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), our priority remains to provide our customers with an amazing vacation experience. That means keeping you informed every step of the way and providing you with important information you should know before you go.

In an abundance of caution, all Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) cruise lines have voluntarily and temporarily suspended operations until October 31, 2020. Adjustments to their cancellation and payment policies provide you with greater confidence, flexibility and options for your cruise vacation.

CRUISING CONTINUES TO BE ONE OF THE SAFEST WAYS TO TRAVEL

Every cruise line takes extreme precautions in sanitizing their ships to prevent contamination and the spread of an illness. Methods employed to keep passengers healthy include:

  • Thoroughly sanitizing the cruise ship terminal before and after every sailing
  • Hand-sanitizing stations located throughout the ship, including dining areas
  • Signage encouraging passengers to wash their hands with regularity for the duration of their cruise
  • Medical experts (onboard & onshore) monitor, advise, and inform response procedures on an ongoing basis, and in coordination with global health authorities and local governments
  • Adjusting itineraries as needed to ensure they are never putting their guests and crew at risk of being exposed to any virus or illness in specific destinations
  • An emergency-preparedness plan, in the unlikely event of a widespread medical emergency

Carnival Cruise Line

Cruise with Confidence

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we regret to inform our guests that Carnival Cruise Line is having to cancel the following sailings:

  • All sailings through and including October 31, 2020
  • All San Francisco sailings through 2020

Carnival Cruise Line has announced additional sailing cancellations of the Carnival Breeze and Carnival Magic as well as the delayed arrival/cancellations of sailings for the newly transformed Carnival Radiance and of its new ship the Mardi Gras. Here are more details:

  • Mardi Gras will now enter into service from Port Canaveral, Fla. on February 6, 2021. Itineraries out of Port Canaveral for departures from November 14, 2020 to January 30, 2021 have been cancelled.
  • Carnival Radiance's transformation is likely not going to be completed until the spring.
  • As a result of the delayed arrival of Carnival Radiance, Carnival Breeze will be redeployed from Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral and will assume the itineraries for Carnival Radiance from November 8, 2020 to April 24, 2021. Consequently, guests on 18 Carnival Breeze sailings from Fort Lauderdale scheduled to operate from November 7, 2020 to March 7, 2021 are being notified that their cruises have been cancelled.
  • Carnival Magic's transatlantic and European itineraries from March 13, 2021 to May 3, 2021 have been cancelled. Seven sailings previously scheduled for Carnival Breeze from Fort. Lauderdale from March 13 to April 24, 2021 will move to Miami and those guests will sail on the same itinerary, but on Carnival Magic operating from PortMiami.

We truly value our guests and appreciate your patience and understanding. To that end, we want to provide flexibility as you think about your future plans. Below are two options for guests whose cruise has been canceled to consider, including a bonus value offer. We look forward to welcoming you on board, when the time is right for you.

Carnival will honor this offer for any guests who were previously booked on these voyages and canceled their booking on or after March 6, 2020.

Celebrity Cruises

The health and safety of our guests, crew, and the communities we visit is our top priority. As we work with the CDC and others toward this shared goal, Royal Caribbean Group will be extending the suspension of sailings to include those departing on or before October 31, 2020. As you may be aware, the Australian Government has announced an extension to their current suspension of cruise tourism in the region. In response to this decision, Celebrity Cruises will be extending the suspension of global operations for all sailings aboard Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Solstice, departing between November 1st and December 31st, 2020.

July 22, 2020 Update: All new and existing bookings made before September 30th, 2020 qualify for Cruise with Confidence, which offers:

  • LIFT & SHIFT option is for those wishing to move their cruise vacation to next year, while protecting the original cruise fare and promotion. Select next year's sailing on the same itinerary type, sailing length, stateroom category, and within the same 4-week window of the original cruise date and your clients are all set.
  • GREATER FLEXIBILITY for guests, they can cancel or change their cruise up to 48 hours prior to sailing. Refunds will be issued as a 100% FCC; bookings must be paid in full.
  • OUR BEST PRICE GUARANTEE allows guests to change their price and/or their chosen promotion up to 48 hours prior to cruise. Refunds issued as an OBC inside final payment.

Crystal Cruises

Ocean, Yacht and Expedition Cruises

Regrettably, Crystal has extended its suspension of cruises until the end of December due to the ongoing uncertain travel environment. In the meantime, we are proactively planning for the day we can sail again.


River Cruises

Like all travel enthusiasts, we are eagerly anticipating the day we can return to sailing the world again and welcome our guests back aboard. Unfortunately, the pandemic caused by Covid-19, coupled with differing restrictions regarding entry into the European Union (EU), continues to impact when and where this can happen. Given the continued uncertainty surrounding this global health crisis, it is with regret that we have had to cancel all River voyages aboard Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy, Crystal Mahler and Crystal Ravel through the remainder of 2020.

We sincerely apologize for this disruption to our guests' travels and invite them to consider rescheduling their cruise with the two options shared here representing added value, choice and flexibility:

  • 2020 to 2021 River Rollover
    Move their current 2020 reservation, including all payments made, to an equivalent sailing during the same time period in 2021, with price protection on the cruise fare and port charges – representing a significant value for them.

    OR
  • Reservation Transfer
    If a guest chooses not to rollover their cruise to a 2021 river sailing, they may transfer their reservation to any Crystal experience (Ocean, River, Yacht or Expedition) embarking through December 31, 2023 at prevailing rates. All monies paid will be transferred to the new reservation.

If any guests do not elect an option by August 14, 2020, we will automatically issue a Future Credit, equal to 100% of the cruise fare paid, valid on any Crystal experience (Ocean, River, Yacht or Expedition) embarking through December 31, 2023 – along with a refund of port charges, taxes and fees paid, and any air and hotel packages booked through Crystal.

RIVER ROLLOVER: An equivalent sailing is defined as a 2021 voyage on the same river, of the same duration, in the same room category and as listed on our equivalent sailing list. This offer is valid through August 14, 2020.

FUTURE CRUISE CREDIT is issued as a Future Cruise Payment (FCP) representing the cruise fare paid and may be applied to multiple future bookings and may be used towards deposit requirement on their new booking. Future Credits are redeemable through December 31, 2023. Once Credits are issued, they are not eligible for a refund.

Cunard Line

As a result of the continuing impact of Covid-19, Cunard has extended its pause in operations to sailings up to March 25, 2021 for Queen Elizabeth, April 18, 2021 for Queen Mary 2 and May 16, 2021 for Queen Victoria. In addition to the pause in operations, all of Queen Elizabeth's sailings due to depart between March 26, 2021 and December 13, 2021, in and around Australia, Japan and Alaska, will be cancelled. We will again be providing booked guests with the option to receive 125% FCC or 100% refund.

Disney Cruise Line

In alignment with the announcement from Cruise Lines International Association regarding the voluntary extension of suspended passenger operations from U.S. ports, Disney Cruise Line is cancelling all sailings through at least December 6, 2020 as well as the following November sailings:

  • Disney Fantasy will be cancelled through December 6
  • Disney Dream and Disney Wonder will be cancelled through December 11
  • Disney Magic will be cancelled through December 12

Guests booked on affected sailings who have paid their reservation in full will be offered the choice of a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing or a full refund. Guests who have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far. These Guests will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line outlining details and next steps.

Holland America Line

During this pause in our business, we have continued to closely monitor the progression of COVID-19, global travel and port restrictions, and guidance from public health authorities. We have come to the conclusion that we will not be able to return to sailing as soon as we had hoped and have made the difficult decision to extend our pause of cruise operations to voyages departing through December 15, 2020.

  • Guest bookings on impacted cruises automatically will be cancelled, and no action is needed for guests opting for the Future Cruise Credit (FCC).
    • Paid in Full: Those who had paid in full will receive 125% FCC of the base cruise fare paid to Holland America Line.
    • Not Paid in Full: Those with bookings not paid in full will receive an FCC of double the amount of the deposit paid for the cruise. The minimum FCC is $100 and the maximum will be an amount up to the base cruise fare paid.
  • Refund requests should be made via the Cancellation Preferences form before September 15, 2020.
  • Future Cruise Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and may be used to book sailings departing through December 31, 2022.
  • All other funds paid to Holland America Line may be transferred to a new booking or will automatically be refunded via the method of payment used to purchase the services.

MSC Cruises

Cruise with Confidence

In the Mediterranean, we've extended the halt of operations of our ships from August 16 through to and including October 31 &ndash with the exception of MSC Grandiosa and MSC Magnifica for guests residing in Schengen countries only. A 125% Future Cruise Credit of the original cruise fare paid will be sent to the email we have on file by Friday, August 31, for the impacted sailings. FCC must be used on a sailing on or before December 31, 2021.

In the Caribbean, we've extended the temporary halt of our operations from September 30 through to and including October 31. A 125% Future Cruise Credit of the original cruise fare paid will be sent to the email we have on file by Monday, August 31, for the impacted sailings. FCC must be used on a sailing on or before December 31, 2021.

Other impacted sailings:

  • Winter 2020-2021 Caribbean cruises (MSC Meraviglia, MSC Armonia, MSC Divina, MSC Seaside) from Oct. 31, 2020 - April 27, 2021 have been impacted due to new cruise itineraries
  • Spring/Summer/Fall 2021 Caribbean cruises (MSC Divina & MSC Armonia) from March - Oct. 2021 have been impacted due to new cruise itineraries
  • MSC Cruises announced today that regretfully the Company must postpone the restart of MSC Magnifica until September 26, 2020. MSC Magnifica’s sales are open to residents of the Schengen area, at the same time in this early phase of restart the majority of guests are expected to be Italian nationals and residents. The first cruise will depart from Bari, Italy with an unchanged itinerary on September 26.

On Friday, May 29, the Government of Canada announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic they will be prohibiting cruise ships carrying more than 100 persons from operating in Canadian waters until October 31, 2020. As MSC Cruises continues following the guidance of governments and health authorities across the world always prioritizing the health and safety of their guests and crew they've made the difficult decision to cancel their three 10-night sailings on MSC Meraviglia from New York to Canada & New England as well as the two repositioning cruises from Northern Europe to New York and from New York to Miami this fall.

Cruise Assurance program - temporary guest cancellation policy*:

  • Guests sailing on or before October 31, 2020 have the option to cancel their reservation up to 48 hours prior to departure and receive a Future Cruise Credit for 100% of the original cruise fare paid and reschedule for a future date. Any applicable prepaid items will be refunded to the original form of payment. This includes bookings within final payment and paid in full. If you choose to cancel your current cruise, you will receive a Future Cruise Credit (excl. government taxes, fees & prepaid items) to reschedule for a future cruise. You must fill out this form.
  • Guests can apply their Future Cruise Credit to any future cruise of their choice departing on or before December 31, 2021.

*Should you wish not to participate in the Cruise Assurance program, normal payment and cancellation policies apply.

Norwegian Cruise Line

Cruise with Confidence

Due to the voluntary suspension of cruise operations, guests who are currently booked on cruises with embarkation dates from March 13 through October 31, 2020 will receive a full refund of their cruise fare in the form of a future cruise credit (FCC) which can be applied towards any Norwegian Cruise Line voyage through December 31, 2022. Norwegian plans to relaunch cruise operations with embarkations beginning November 1, 2020. Norwegian Sun sailings from May 21, 2020 through October 18, 2020 have also been canceled. Due to a delay in construction at the terminal building at the port in Panama Norwegian Sun sailings from January 3, 2021 through and including January 31, 2021, and February 15, 2021 through March 17, 2021. The Sun sailing on February 12, 2021 is not being impacted. As a result of changes to the redeployment of Norwegian's fleet, all Norwegian Jewel sailings from September 25, 2020 through February 27, 2021 have been canceled. All voyages in October 2020 to Canada/New England and Pacific Coastal cruises embarking in Vancouver have also been canceled (Norwegian Bliss – October 12, 2020, Norwegian Joy – October 4, 2020, Norwegian Breakaway – October 4, 2020 and October 11, 2020, Norwegian Gem – October 2, 2020 and October 9, 2020). Seattle-based Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Joy Alaska sailings have been furthered delayed. Norwegian Joy cancelled sailings include: September 5, 2020, September 12, 2020, September 19, 2020, and September 26, 2020. Norwegian Bliss cancelled sailings include: September 6, 2020, September 13, 2020, September 20, 2020, September 27, 2020, and October 4, 2020.

In addition and as a result of fleet re-deployment, all Norwegian Epic sailings from October 31, 2021 through and including November 10, 2021 have been canceled. These include:
• October 31, 2021 from Barcelona, Spain
• November 3, 2021 from Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
• November 7, 2021 from Barcelona, Spain
• November 10, 2021 from Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

All guests with current and active bookings from March 18 through July 31, 2020 will automatically receive their refund in the form of a future cruise credit valued at 125% of the fare paid. These future cruise credits can be applied anytime within one year of issue date and toward any Norwegian Cruise Line voyage through December 31, 2022.

A lesser value refund is also available for guests who elect not to retain the bonus future cruise credits provided. These guests can elect to receive a 100% refund of the fare paid to be reimbursed to the original form of payment ninety days after the request for a refund has been submitted. All refund requests must be received via the web form.

For all new and existing individual and group bookings (booked by July 31, 2020) that embark from March 10, 2020 through and including November 30, 2020:

  • Guests can cancel up until 48 hours prior to vacation start date. Cancelled reservations that occur prior to 48 hours to vacation date will receive a 100% future cruise credit (FCC) to be used for ANY Norwegian sailing embarking on or before December 31, 2022.
    • Vacation start date includes any pre-hotel or Cruisetour packages
    • FCC will include all components of the reservation that have been paid, including but not limited to: shore excursions, beverage and dining packages (including associated gratuities), service charges and air or transfers pre purchased through Norwegian.

Peace of Mind Policy: Now extended through October 31, 2021, our Peace of Mind policy is for any existing or new reservations made and deposited by September 30, 2020 and allows guests the ability to cancel in advance of embarkation, for a full refund in the form of a future cruise credit.

  • 2020 Sailings: Guests are free to cancel anytime up to 48 hours in advance of embarkation (for any voyage embarking through December 31, 2020)
  • 2021 Sailings: Guests are free to cancel anytime up to 15 days in advance of embarkation (for any voyage embarking January 1, 2021 through October 31, 2021)

Final Payment Policy: Our new final payment policy for all 2020 voyages now postpones final payment until 60 days prior to embarkation.

Oceania Cruises

The safety, security and well-being of our guests, crew and communities we visit is our number one priority.

We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 coronavirus situation and the global health environment. With COVID-19 continuing to impact communities and ports around the globe, we have extended our voluntary temporary suspension of voyages. Oceania is extending their suspension of all voyages through October 31, 2020 and all voyages aboard Insignia through April 26, 2021.

Princess Cruises

Princess Cruise Lines has extended its suspension for the majority of its fleet through December 15, 2020. Due to the continued progression of COVID-19 and related decisions of various government, health authorities, and airlines regarding travel restrictions, Princess Cruises is extending its pause in cruise operations impacting the following voyages:

  • Princess Cruises is extending its pause in cruise operations in Australia through December 18, 2020 which includes cruises throughout Australia and New Zealand
  • All sailings in Asia, Caribbean, California Coast, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal, South America & Antarctica, Japan, and Tahiti/South Pacific through December 15, 2020

Royal Caribbean International

Cruise with Confidence

The health and safety of our guests remains our key focus at Royal Caribbean. Due to the current global environment, we've made the tough decision to voluntarily suspend cruise operations through October 31, 2020. Additionally, the remainder of the 2020 Europe season and the fall Transatlantic sailings have also been cancelled. In response to recent guidance shared by the Australian government, the tough decision has been made to further pause cruise operations for all departures from Australia / New Zealand between November 1 - December 31, 2020. Additionally, to allot additional time to prepare for a healthy and safe return, Spectrum of the Seas' China sailings departing October 1-31, 2020 have also been cancelled.

July 22, 2020 Update: We're extending our Cruise with Confidence policy to allow cancellations up to 48-hours prior to sailing, in exchange for a 100% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) on sailings through April 2022 for bookings made on or before September 30, 2020. That's an additional two months of flexibility and security.

Seabourn

Seabourn announced that it will extend the voluntary pause of global operations for its five cruise ships. The pause will apply to each of Seabourn's five ships differently with each having a different "effective through" date in either October or November.

  • Seabourn Odyssey: paused through the Europe season, with its operations pause effective through November 20.
  • Seabourn Sojourn: paused through Alaska/British Columbia season, with its operations pause effective through October 13.
  • Seabourn Quest: operations pause effective through May 10, 2021.
  • Seabourn Encore: operations pause effective through January 6, 2021.
  • Seabourn Ovation: operations pause effective through January 3, 2021.

Now, you can book your cruise with confidence: cancel for any reason and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) in the amount of your cancellation fees. Some restrictions apply.

Existing and new bookings with cruise sailing prior to July 31st, 2020.

  • Booking is cancelled no less than 48 hours prior to sailing.
  • If your booking meets the eligibility criteria, your cancellation will be processed automatically and you will receive a confirmation with your Future Cruise Credit details in approximately two weeks.
  • The Future Cruise Credit can be redeemed by making a booking by December 30, 2020 for any published voyage(s) departing prior to December 31, 2021.

Viking Cruises

As of March 11, 2020, Viking is temporarily suspending operations of their river and ocean cruises. Viking believes they will be in a better place to provide the experiences their guests expect and deserve and plan to resume operations on December 31, 2020.
